Product Description

There are times when we all need a little help with our style; if you’re a woman who is shaped like a pear and not as young as you were, this little booklet is the answer to your problems.

A Pear shape is the most common female shape; if you’re not
sure if you are a “Pear”, measure your waist and hips and divide the waist measurement by the hip measurement; if the resulting ratio is less than 0.8, you’re a “Pear”.

Here’s an example of how to work it out:
Waist measurement = 28 inches
Hip measurement = 42 inches
28/42 = 0.66 … which is below .08 which is a Pear!

Your goal is to emphasize your upper body by adding weight to create balance.

It’s a question of learning how to camouflage those pear hips and thighs and anything else you don’t like, so you can create a look that emphasises your top and minimises your bottom.

This little booklet will provide in-depth information on what to do and what to wear to achieve your balanced look! From fitted tops with horizontal necklines to lots of chunky jewellery … the answer is here … its intention is to give you that certainty we all need from time to time.

You will find easy to understand lists of do’s and don’t’s for your major garment types –

  • Pants
  • Jeans
  • Tops
  • Dresses
  • Coats

With illustrations to show you examples of what works best for your shape this little eBook gives you the straight to the point advice so often missing from advice by stylists and other personal styling books.
